The Concept: What Does It All Mean? #000019
Q: “I've got one... how about the differences and roles between/for PR and Marketing? Uses and time/place for each? Just a thought from a reader! Keep up the great work in '25.”
A: Over the years, prospective clients have called wanting PR, others have wanted marketing, others advertising, which emerged from a need for PR. Let's break it down.

Here’s to you, 2024.
A final tip of the cap to 2024 and all the brands that came with it. It never gets old seeing these designs come to life in the wild.

Review: A Year of the Concept
A year in the books, 12 Concept newsletters chock full of advice, stories, industry tidbits, and more. As we move through the year, we write about the topics that are most relevant at the time: questions we’re getting, trends we’re seeing, work we’re proud of. Here’s a peek at what we reviewed throughout 2024. And as always, have a question or seeking an answer? ASK US.

The Concept: Applause & Faux Pas Issue #000018
2024—phew, we almost did it. The Paris Olympics, the BarbEnheimer Oscars, the 2024 election, a pygmy hippo, Glicked...so many moments, so little time. We've compiled some of our favorite hits and misses from the year—reinventions, unexpected breakthroughs, pop culture darlings, and downfalls.

The Concept: Social Marketing, Issue 000016
Take a moment and think about what fuels your desire, if you have one, to browse social media. If you are a business owner, what do you think your customers are seeking when they follow you? What KPIs are you seeking when you are putting content out there? Are you achieving those goals and can you connect them directly to your social media presence?

The Concept: Is Video Worth It? Issue #000015
We are all aware of current consumers' abbreviated attention spans. We live in an age of instant gratification and in order to cater to that audience, we need to make sure we're engaging our audience with authentic content that will hold their interest, while meeting them where they are (on their devices).

New Brand, Inspired by the Old.
Using the original vintage logo as inspiration, we created a modern icon with accompanying typography to stand out amongst the crowd, which also looks sharp on merch and even better on terrain park features.

The Concept: The Power of the Grid. Issue #000014
The solution is not a one-size-fits-all but it can be a path to curating a social media presence in a way that is manageable, forward-facing, and professional. Between Instagram stories, Facebook feeds, TikTok's, X posts, and LinkedIn fodder, the reigning champ for ongoing content curation with staying power is...
Summit Series: Success Despite Storm
We wouldn’t let Hurricane Debby be the downer that she so desperately wanted to be. On Friday, August 9th, Trampoline held its first Summit Series conference, a unique take on a marketing conference in which we took to the trail to talk, both business and personal, build relationships and answer questions.

Maine: Prepped for Growth
The Mid Maine Chamber of Commerce hired Trampoline to help sell the idea that Maine isn't just for vacations, it's the perfect place to put down roots or start your business.

The Concept: Summit Series. Issue #000013
We're hosting a single-day marketing conference, and it's an outdoor affair. The Trampoline creative team will be hiking the short but rewarding Bradley's Lookout trail in Bolton Landing to talk through strategy and design decisions, sticky points, ideas, you name it.

North Country Prosperity, One Donor at a Time.
Our work for NRDC is an example of how Trampoline can help reshape an organization with authenticity and an eye for longevity. Projects like these are successful when they develop as a partnership. We get to know communities, listen to stakeholders, and genuinely plan for the most enduring impact we can have. Trampoline becomes an extension of your team.

In Good Company.
When people ask about BCorp, we are still learning how to explain it. And when asked why we became certified the best way to answer is that it just felt right.
As we continue to learn from and about the BCorp community, it's been wonderful to realize just how many other companies have taken the same steps.

Another Summer of Theater Magic.
This June, Adirondack Theater Festival kicks off its summer season featuring posters designed by our very own graphic designers. Bringing the shows to life through graphic design, we put the spotlight on the diversity of the shows, the force of community in the arts and beyond, and the resurrection of the magic of theater.

The Concept: Content Marketing. Issue #000012
Content marketing campaigns are built to solve a specific issue or to position a brand in a certain way. The goal of outbound communication is less focused on the bottom line and more dedicated to reputation and/or awareness.

The Concept: ROI. Issue #0000011
Will investing in outbound marketing improve my bottom line? Can it be done for less expense? What is the ROI on a brand investment, a creative campaign, or a video series? So many questions! Such uncertainty…

OPEN CASTING CALL for DIVERSE TALENT (June 25 & 26)
We are looking for diverse talent for an upcoming tourism video and photo shoot in Southern Vermont. We are seeking all race and gender representations, ethnicities, and abilities while looking for a wide range of age representation—including families. The tasks will include hiking, biking, watersports, and other outdoor activities.

The Concept: AI. Issue #0000010
Love it or hate it, AI is here to stay. Over time, its uses have become more focused, more regulated (see the WGA strike), and perhaps more reasonable. And while that won't always be the case as the technology becomes better and smarter, it is up to the creatives to dictate its use (and its abuse)—at least where we can.

Celebrating B Corp Month
B Corp means that we're committed to being a force for good: to being inclusive, to being impactful in our communities, and to bringing good design to others with respect, transparency, and value.
